Sarasota, Florida Launches First-Ever Vinyl Music Festival on July 16-19 Featuring Roster of International Celebrity DJs Performing in Venues Throughout the Community

[Sarasota, FL – June 24, 2009] The Vinyl Music Festival, July 16 – 19, 2009, in Sarasota, Florida, is the first electronic music festival on the gulf coast of Florida featuring over 25 DJ artists from around the world as well as local artists in a four-day event held in ten venues located in downtown Sarasota.

The featured international DJ artists include: Paul Mendez, currently rated the #3 House DJ in the world; Diamond, a high-energy blonde bombshell DJ to the stars; Master Jay coming directly to us from Doha, Qatar in the Middle East; Drager, the #3 ranked Electro House DJ in the US; and DeeJay Barry who has been rocking crowds worldwide for over 10 years.

THE ORIGINS OF THE VINYL MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Vinyl Music Festival was launched by the HuB, a group of entrepreneurs whose mission is to infuse the community with the vibrance of the creative and tech industries. “We have several goals in mind,” says HuB co-founder Matt Orr. “ The Festival will bring new energy to an already vibrant artistic city and provide a new social experience for residents of all ages.”

The Vinyl Music Festival is being promoted and sponsored by a long list of local sponsors, merchants and media with the goal to attract visitors while also promoting local and regional artists who will be participating as well.
